Home renovation

Attention homeowners – are you thinking about doing some renovations in the next year? Fancy a grant to make things a little easier?

Then you’re in luck – Minister for Finance Michael Noonan recently announced an extension to the home renovation grant, which ranges from a minimum €595 to a maximum €4,050, depending on the type of works carried out. Homeowners will be able to avail of this grant until the end of 2016.

The grant scheme covers a wide range of works including landscaping, plumbing, replastering and attic conversions. Homeowners must spend between €4,405 and €30,000 on their renovations to qualify for the scheme.
