Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) last night launched its shopping website, www.theloop.ie with a major media event at Dublin city’s Dylan Hotel. The website allows passengers to buy before they fly, with the option to collect at Dublin, Cork or Shannon airports on departure or on their arrival back home. The range is similar to that available at The Loop stores, which is DAA’s retail brand, with over 4,000 items available.
Upon the launch, Loop Head of Retail Jean Ann Taylor said: “We now offer an extensive range of products online, which allows passengers to browse and buy luxury brands, in their own time.
“Online purchases can be collected at the airport before you fly, or alternatively passengers can avail of our Shop and Collect service. With Shop and Collect we store purchases free of charge and a customer can collect on their return to Dublin, Cork or Shannon Airport. This is one of the key benefits of shopping at The Loop and now online, so baggage restrictions are never a problem with this great service.”
