Winter motoring

Winter is officially here – temperatures are dropping fast, the heating is coming on more often, and the car windows are beginning to freeze in the morning.

With the latter in mind, Lidl will have a range of motoring goodies on offer from next Monday November 14th to help you cope with the colder months. That includes car covers for €7.99, an ice scraper set for €1.99, thermal windscreen protectors for €2.99 and a heated car seat cover for €12.99.

And, if you want to make sure you’re on the right side (presuming you are actually on the right side) of any accidents you might be unfortunate enough to have over the next few months, they’ve also got a dashcam for €59.99.

Stocking filler

Looking for a stocking filler for the well-groomed male in your life? Argos is currently offering 25% off the George Hardy grooming kit, a handy travel-sized kit which includes a pocket comb, toothbrush and nasal trimmer – reduced from €29.99 to €22.49.

Winter sale

The Debenhams ‘winter spectacular’ sale is running this week until Sunday, offering up to 25% off items in every department, with additional special offers each day online and in-store. Keep an eye out for a few bargains in the run up to Christmas.

Birthday bundle

To celebrate their birthday, Humble Bundle is offering free Steam keys for Mac and Windows for the DiRT 3 Complete Edition off road racing game (you’ll need a free Steam account to redeem the key). Hurry though – the offer ends tomorrow.

Those who get the game, which normally costs €29.99, can “race iconic cars representing 50 years of off-road motorsport across three continents – from the forests of Michigan to the infamous roads of Finland and the national parks of Kenya.”

Make sure to check the Steam store for the game’s requirements, which include a minimum 2GB RAM and a 2.8Ghz processor – you don’t want to be disappointed when your computer starts to freeze when you load it up!
