Try Spotify

We featured Spotify recently in a list of online freebies – while there’s a decent premium option, you can avail of the service for free, though it features adverts and you can only listen to songs on shuffle. If you’re thinking about making the jump to the paid version, Spotify is offering three months of Premium for €0.99, increasing to the regular monthly price of €9.99 thereafter. Premium includes the option to download songs for offline listening, on-demand listening, and the removal of ads. The offer ends June 30th 2016.

Euro fever

Looking forward to Euro 2016 this summer? Ireland’s first match is against Sweden on June 13th, and it promises to be an exciting tournament. Lidl is also getting in on the action – this week they’re offering a range of supplies for supporters, including a UEFA men’s t-shirt for €5.99, footballs for €11.99, supporters’ flags for €2.99 each, and kids’ zip jackets for €12.99. Come on the Boys in Green!

Makeup masterclass

Fancy enrolling in a makeup masterclass? Reduced from €135 to €19, you can take part in a three-hour masterclass by Caroline Bourke Makeup and Styling, available in Dublin, Galway, Waterford, Limerick, Cork and Killarney. You’ll be taught how to “master the Kardashian look”, with topics including combining lips and eyes, blushing, and current fashion trends. The classes run Monday to Friday (6.30 pm to 9.30pm) or selected Saturday and Sundays (11am to 2pm or 12pm to 3pm).
